Anoop No for the Top 5

Anoop says on Idol he's disappointed on not making it. My heart goes for him as well, a bit disappointed too because he's one of my favorite on the American Idols.

I'm right on my hunches last week that based from what the judges say I know who would be eliminated today. There's voting but still the judges dominates and guides the audience on the voting scheme. Last week when Simon commented if there's going to be one worth saving on the bottom three ( Lil, Matt, and Anoop) he said there is one. And it's obvious they want Matt on the Top 5 list when they saved him. Matt is also a good singer but that was his worst performance when he tries so hard to sing "Have You Ever Loved A Woman" he really ruined the song belting it out on that higher keys.

Dinner at Frankie Tomatto

I loved this Italian buffet restaurant thanks to our friend for bringing us here and we may to our delight come back again. We went on a Saturday dinner so price is a bit higher compared to weekdays. But for $18.99 Canadian dollars I would say it's worth it. As I've said you can go on a not so busy day so you can avail of the lower price and they also offer group packages on Thursday for $10.99 per head on a minimum of 11 persons on 1 bill for dinner.

Although I liked mostly all the menu what I enjoyed most are the clams, shrimp, the Mediterranean salad ... and I dared to go messy eating the crab legs.

They feature 14 different food stations this may be all of it.

1. Carvery 2. Pasta 3. Meatballs - linguine, italian meatballs, alfredo sauce, vongole 4. Zuppa Station - assorted homemade soups including their specialty the minestrone soup 5. Antipasto - peel and eat shrimp, assorted Italian salad, marinated olives 6. Spumoni's Gelato Bar - 16 flavors of ice cream gelato 7. Maria's Pasticceria - sweets, cakes, deserts and pastries 8. Pizza Station 9. Frutta Station - fruit favorites in the season 10. Bakery - baked rolls, buns, focaccia, calabrese rolls 11. Insalada 12. Seafood 13. Rotisserie 14. Ortaggi

Frankie Tomatto is located at 7225 Woodbine Avenue, Markham, Ontario L3RIA3 Phone No. 905 940 1900.

Where the wild things are?

Never read the book, but the teaser trailer got me eager to watch this one. When I see the premiere trailer on Ellen I don't know but I remember "Never Ending Story" also a good production movie from the 80's with a somewhat similar plot like this one. It's a fantasy but I have some tear-jerker moments on some part of that movie.

An adaptation of Maurice Sendak's classic children's story, “Where the Wild Things Are” follows the adventure of Max , a mischievous young boy who is sent to his room without supper after rebelling against his mother (Catherine Keener). He then sets his own imaginative world, and soon transports him into a forest inhabited by wild creatures, where mischief reigns and crowns Max as their ruler.

The Tales of Beedle the Bard

I'm browsing through the library and I remembered this book from the last installment of Harry Potter Series ( Deathly Hallows ) I have just recently read, The Tales of Beedle the Bard, this book was mentioned on the story of "The Tale of the 3 Brothers" , so grabbed it for the curiosity.

The Tales of Beedle the Bard is a book of children's stories by British author J. K. Rowling. It purports to be the storybook of the same name mentioned in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the last book of the Harry Potter series.

It had 5 short stories, what I liked is "The Fountain of Fair Fortune". Three witches in search for the benefits of the magical fountain. I'm still the fairy tale type with a knack of reality ... and I believe that magic still exists in each one of our own talents. (*** I liked it)
